The Giclée Process...
Dogbeautiful.com is run by an Executive Board of Artists with expertise in photographic, archival digital print production and preservation. As we offer many types of media including silks, paintings and hand drawings, we feel our superior digital printing process deserves a bit more explanation.
All digital artwork available on dogbeautiful.com is custom printed to order. Our print media and inks were selected to provide our art collectors with the very best artistic and photographic imaging results.
Our custom digital prints, commonly known as "giclées" are made with special preservation ink - formulated for resistance to fading. These preservation inks, combined with our acid-free papers listed below provide a print life of up to 200 years in a typical indoor display condition.
